³⁵ And they were relating ^[a]their experiences on the road and how ^(A)He was recognized by them in the breaking of the bread.

³⁶ Now while they were telling these things, ^(B)He Himself stood in their midst and *said to them, “Peace to you.” ³⁷ But being startled and frightened, they were thinking that they were seeing ^(C)a spirit.
